At the sitting of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs on May 17, the petition on Improvement of current regulations (notarization of certain transactions and elimination of requirements for state registration of arising rights) was debated.
“Drug trading companies, pharmacies, must obtain a license in order to operate a pharmacy. The terms of the license include that the premises must meet certain standards. There are cases when the premises either do not meet the restrictions or the requirement to obtain a unified certificate.
Meanwhile, other business operators, for example, beauty salons, are able to rent other spaces without rental restrictions, because they do not require a unified certificate. During the debate, we came to the conclusion that we should go the way of bringing all the organizations to the registered market. Bureaucratic hassles should be eliminated,” the Deputy Chair of the Committee Babken Tunyan said.
The Deputy Chair of the Committee reaffirmed that he will jointly debate with the Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs whether the real estate must meet certain standards to work as a pharmacy or not.
