The NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs debated and endorsed two revised legislative packages at May 19 sitting in the second reading.
In the first package, it is proposed to make addenda to the law on Bankruptcy and the related laws, which will enable organizations in the process of bankruptcy to properly implement control in the fields of technical and fire safety, as well as environmental protection.
The term of submission of information regarding the activity of the Inspection Body, as well as the violations recorded as a result of the control actions carried out by that body and not eliminated within the set period, is specified.
According to the Acting Head of the Coordination Bureau of Inspection Bodies Armen Danielyan, after the first reading, the Government presented editorial proposals, which were adopted.

The purpose of the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Constitutional Law on the RA Judicial Code and the package of the related drafts is to ensure the organization of re-examination of judicial acts made in civil anti-corruption and corruption crime cases by the specialized Appellate Anti-Corruption Court earlier than the deadline set by the law.
The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Levon Balyan mentioned that after the first reading, the Government proposed a technical amendment, which was adopted.
According to the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Vladimir Vardanyan, the legislative package is one of the most important steps in the implementation of the anti-corruption policy.
The member of the Committee, the deputy of Armenia Faction Gegham Nazaryan highlighting the adoption of the package of drafts, stated that it will promote the relief of the workload of the courts.
