Meeting of the Foreign Minister of Armenia with the Special Representative of the NATO Secretary General
On May 23 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received Javier Colomina Piris, the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia.
The interlocutors touched upon the issues of the Armenia-NATO cooperation.
Issues related to security and stability in the South Caucasus were discussed.

Ararat Mirzoyan presented the latest discussions in the negotiation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the vision of the Armenian side on the key issues. Minister Mirzoyan stressed the need for Azerbaijan to abandon its aggressive policy and provocative actions, which is an important factor for the progress in the negotiations. The importance of effective steps by the actors interested in stability in the region was emphasised.
