“This person will hand everything and bring war.” Raffi Hovhannisian about Nikol Pashinyan

May 27,2023 12:15

“This man will hand everything and bring war, but what are we doing?” said Raffi Hovhannisian, the Leader of the “Heritage” party, at the press conference, without naming names, but referring to RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Raffi Hovhannisian said: “This is not an individual’s problem. He is already nothing. That’s why it’s not a matter of a name. But this situation, its bearer, the author, has become a national evil because he destroys Armenia, the church, our perspective, and the first and last bell of the school; by his confession, officially expressed by his decisions. If we do not change anything together, we will hand over our country to the currently organized program of genocide.

Koltso 2 is ongoing; it is a complete blockade, a creeping occupation of the territories of the sovereign motherland. He already openly admits his complicity and is consciously handing over sovereign state territories. He knowingly causes hundreds of thousands of deaths of soldiers and citizens. He intentionally violates his State Oath and the constitutional order on many occasions.

Here he is looking for an accomplice among his family members, party friends, and state bodies, who are authorized and obliged according to the same Constitution to ensure the constitutional order of our State and not allow our law and Constitution to be usurped by any person, party or any political current. It already happens to someone who was once elected but lost his legitimacy. His behavior, manners, and confession no longer carry substantive legitimacy. He does not have the grace, masculinity, Armenian dignity to leave voluntarily; the state bodies do not take a step.”

Raffi Hovhannisyan said he does not use that “popular emotional term – treason, because it is very smallish.” He added: “State, national, civil treason, treason against children is being committed. Five years ago, he looked fatherly at the soldiers during the march, and they were looking at him and waiting for a big change in Armenia. I was there too. Now, what is it about the boys, if not treason? He went to Artsakh; the children of Artsakh came from schools, and he hugged them. What is this moment for that child now, if not, to use the mildest expression, betrayal?’

Raffi Hovhannisian reminded us that 105 years ago, on this day in Sardarapat and its sister cities, our people decided their fate. And now we have an unprecedented descent; if there is no change, we will lose our statehood by our own hands. “War is coming, and can you call it a peace treaty?” You call yourself the government, or they are the opposition in the parliament: what are we doing to protect ourselves from war? What sobriety do the law enforcement agencies bring to prepare the people for the disaster our neighboring enemies will bring?
