Public politician, former Minister of State of Artsakh Ruben Vardanyan, and members of the initiative group of the public movement “Front of Security and Development of Artsakh” presented the goals, directions of activity, and organizational structure of the movement at the meeting held in Stepanakert. It was noted that the front is open for cooperation with all those forces and organizations, individuals who accept the goal of having a free, safe, independent, and happy Armenian Artsakh.
Ruben Vardanyan noted that the vision of Artsakh’s future was formed due to broad public discussions in recent months, all directions were outlined, and problems were raised, a road map was developed around this goal. “There was a consolidation around a goal and an idea, not individuals. The challenges facing Artsakh are severe, and serious work and broad involvement are required to face them,” he noted.
Based on the road map, programs are also being designed, all of which will serve the same main goal: to have a free, safe, happy, and Armenian Artsakh. “The enormous work ahead of us requires a financial foundation. My family will invest 20 billion drams in the initial stage for that purpose. We expect another 40 billion drams to be involved from those Armenians and friends of Artsakh who are not indifferent to the fate of Artsakh and Artsakh Armenians. We are sure that people will stand by us. It is the money that will help us to pass the first most difficult stage and move forward, enabling us to make the “Security and development front of Artsakh” truly pan-Armenian and using pan-Armenian resources,” said Ruben Vardanyan.

He noted that they will cooperate with both the government and various organizations and individuals, and transparent, consistent, and coordinated work will be carried out. “It’s time to get down to business; we simply can not act in this situation—no time for imitations. Unfortunately, many promises have been made during this time but have not been fulfilled, so words have lost their value. Real daily steps must be taken. We will cooperate with all those who are ready to do real work. If we don’t start now and show ourselves and the world that we are ready to fight to the end and see no other way, the world will not support us.”
During the meeting, the members of the initiative group of the Front presented the works done in the direction of creating road maps and questions related to the structure of the Front and answered the questions of the participants of the meeting.
