In a briefing with the media on the International Day of Children’s Protection, NA Speaker Alen Simonyan said that children should be left a peaceful country as a legacy so that when their children turn 15, parents do not have to think about what to do, so that their children avoid going to the army, and do not think that their children don’t live in a safe country, so they don’t leave the country, find ways for their children to stay alive.
He thinks the same thing for the children of Artsakh. In response to the journalist’s question, he said: “What do you distinguish between a child from Artsakh and a child from Armenia? First of all, this is done for the children of Artsakh so that they, too, can live peacefully and not think about their future. Immediately after the end of the war, it was said that the government, which again received a vote of confidence against the wishes of many, would not be able to ensure peace shortly. The time shows the steps taken in that direction at least postpone the possible war, and the peace process has started, and we can have some result.”
Alen Simonyan was surprised by the question of what agenda Armenia went to the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations in Chisinau and what fundamental questions Armenia should bring to the schedule after recognizing Azerbaijan’s 86,600 square kilometers. “29,800. The briefing also touched on the issue that Azerbaijan does not agree to sit at the table with Stepanakert, although the international community is also discussing it.
