“Aprelu Yerkir” party will not cooperate with the ruling “Civil Contract” party in Yerevan, Mane Tandilyan, and the candidate of Yerevan Mayor of the “Aprelu Yerkir” party, announced. “I want to say that we will speak honestly with the people of Yerevan, and we declare that the mandate given to the people of Yerevan, the vote of confidence, will never serve in any way, in any format, for unification with the “Civil Contract” party or cooperation in any other format.
Every political force, which will participate in the elections in Yerevan, is obliged to declare whether its mandate will serve cooperation or unification with the CC in the future. Everyone should be honest in this crucial election. A citizen of Yerevan should know what problem he will solve by going to the elections. By voting for us, the people of Yerevan will solve the problem of a strong Yerevan, a strong Armenia. By voting for us, the people of Yerevan will solve the issue of power change. We are the only force that can and implements an effective change of power,” said Mane Tandilyan.
She added: “We are determined to have a shaking victory in Yerevan. And without excessive modesty, we considered those opportunities in different formats. And we see that with such a nomination and the team that we will present to you soon, the “Aprelu Erkir” party has every chance to win the Yerevan elections.”
Tandilyan mentioned that their “red lines” are as follows: “The red lines refer to Artsakh, to the fact that there will be no return to the past and those currents have exhausted themselves a long time ago and should leave.” “By participating in the elections, we will bring three goals. We will suggest to the citizens of Yerevan that their choice serves three purposes: urban, political, and state. When we talk about local government elections, it is evident that the city agenda is a priority and absolute because the first thing for us will be the solutions to Yerevan’s problems.

And the European city designed by Tamanyan should become just like that. What we have today, the city with chaotic and irregular constructions, the uncomfortable Yerevan, our beloved capital, is simply subject to negligence and an uncommunicative attitude. The image of Yerevan should be a capital suitable for the 21st century, the capital of all Armenians. All our projects will be aimed at its solution. We will also talk to the people of Yerevan about their dream: what kind of Yerevan, what sort of Armenian capital we should have,” she said.
Tandilyan mentioned that they would present a development plan for Yerevan with a four-dimensional model. The second problem, which will be solved by these elections, according to him, is the political problem. “We consider that the voters in Yerevan will and should have a political orientation. The people of Yerevan have a responsibility before the whole nation to change today’s current situation, with which we need to be reconciled. Therefore, we also consider these elections as a means of effective power change. There is a need for change in the country through elections and without upheavals.
We have done it in different communities; we have proven that there is no edge of cooperation with the “Civil Contract” in any community due to any elections, and even more so, it will not happen in Yerevan. And I will further state why. We consider that this present must be changed; the authorities must leave the sphere of public administration,” said Mane Tandilyan. Regarding the state goal, Mane Tandilyan said: “We are deeply convinced that the basis of a strong Armenia is a strong Yerevan. Yerevan can and will become the important pillar by which Armenia will develop and become a state that matches our values.”
