Today, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan participated in the session of the Executive Committee of the “World Committee of Pan-Armenian Games” NGO.
At the meeting, issues related to the holding of the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games and organizational work were discussed.
In his welcoming speech, Tigran Khachatryan noted: “The Pan-Armenian Games are an important component of the public life of independent Armenia. For more than 20 years, along with bringing together Diaspora-Armenian and Armenian youth in Armenia, this sports event has gained significant importance in terms of rooting a healthy lifestyle among the society and ensuring the popularization of sports.
I am sure that the continuous holding of the Pan-Armenian Games will make an important contribution to popularizing sports and uniting the youth of different communities of the Armenian Diaspora in the homeland.”

The eighth Pan-Armenian Summer Games will take place on August 5-19, 2023. The opening ceremony will take place in Gyumri, the closing ceremony in Yerevan. 107 medals will be awarded in 17 sports.
