The Executive proposes to fill in the legislative gaps regulating the organization of the transportation of dangerous cargo process, ensure the adoption of the legal acts in compliance with the European Agreement on International Road Transportation of Dangerous Cargo, as well as to fulfill the RA obligations prescribed by the RA-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.
The requirements of the documents necessary for transporting dangerous cargo, their forms and the given regulations are established by the drafts. The requirements of giving certificates for professional training and qualification of drivers and security specialists are set.
The RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan noted that after the adoption of the legislative package the sub-legislative acts ensuring the enforcing of the laws will be revised.
The Deputy Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan voiced about the endorsement of the Committee.
