The American side invested more than 70 million dollars in the Metallurgical plant under construction in Yeraskh. About 1,000 new jobs are expected to open due to the factory’s launch. Ararat Region Governor Sedrak Tevonyan presented these details to the diplomats and journalists accredited in RA in Yeraskh.
According to the Governor, Azerbaijan’s actions tend to hinder the normal development of the border settlements of Armenia, and the claims of the Azerbaijani side that there are environmental problems do not correspond to reality. “There is no environmental problem; the only tendency is to prevent border settlements from developing.”
