Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told the investigative commission investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war that on November 7, the Head of the General Staff reported to him that Shushi was under the control of Azerbaijan. Still, on November 9, he wrote that the fighting for Shushi continues; there is a contradiction here, isn’t there?
In a conversation with journalists, in response to this question, the chairman of the investigative commission, Andranik Kocharyan, said that he also spoke with the former Head of the General Staff, Onik Gasparyan, and the information was contradictory. “Do you remember Mr. Vanetsyan handed over his weapons to the military police in Vardenis on the 8th of the month and left? It wasn’t even the 9th of the month, and battles were going on. There were many problems. Today Pashinyan said something so important regarding Shushi that it was widely speculated, Vladimir Putin’s statement, the possibility of stopping the war or not at that moment, the problems of the Meghri corridor, and the enclaves. It was rejected, and that rejection opened the brackets today.”
He said they want to invite the President of the Republic of Artsakh to the session of the investigative commission. Aravot.am asked: for a long time, you call people in the commission, ask questions, can you leave your subjective side for a moment and say: ok, Robert Kocharyan is guilty of leaving Karabakh out of the negotiations, Levon Ter -Petrosyan came with a different slogan, then he tended to make concessions, everyone is guilty, do you see Pashinyan’s guilt at any point, Kocharyan answered.
“Oskanyan said so well, Pashinyan, when he came with such great legitimacy as a result of the revolution, why didn’t he correct our mistakes at once? We would have said, dear people, we go to occupy the buildings. That’s why we invite Oskanyan; he says: we have to hold Pashinyan’s hand, and I say: let’s hold your leg so that you don’t run away, come to the investigative commission and answer these questions; what a mess you made. War is the result of something.” The observation: Oskanyan is also guilty, Vanetsyan is also guilty, they surrendered their weapons, ran away, 5th column, we know this whole series, in the end, do you see Pashinyan’s guilt anywhere in the 44-day war or do you not see it, he answered. “I see yours, mine, all of us. That is why we must learn lessons and move forward. I can say so much, but I won’t say it here.”
