Artsakh is under a complete blockade. Over a week, no humanitarian goods, food, or medicine have reached our 120,000 compatriots, including children, the elderly, and the sick. In my opinion, this last step of Azerbaijan was encouraged by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, who announced that he recognizes the territorial integrity of the neighboring country, including Nagorno Karabakh.
The challenging situation of the Armenians of Artsakh is due to the inhumane (I can’t find another word) position of the Armenian authorities, according to which the state is responsible for the condition of our compatriots in Artsakh just as much as it is for the Armenians of Javakhk or Glendale- all the rest of the talk about who was negotiating what paper at the time is just a distraction.
But the Armenian authorities are not alone in the policy to finally strangle Artsakh. Apart from Turkey and Azerbaijan, Russia is their ally in this matter. The implementation of the 2020 tripartite declaration clause, according to which people and goods should pass through the Lachin Corridor without hindrance, is placed on that country.
However, the peacekeepers of that country do not make any effort for this; on the contrary, they openly support Azerbaijan in its genocidal policy. Putin’s visit to Ankara is expected in the near future, and Russia’s behavior can be considered a “goodwill gesture” of the Russian President toward Erdoğan. It is clear at whose expense. But, as is known, this is not the first case in Russian-Turkish relations.

However, the primary demand of us the citizens of Armenia should be addressed to the authorities of Armenia. Instead of playing their broken record about “former” and “peace,” they should clearly say what they are doing to save the lives of 120 thousand Armenians.
