The Embassy was honored to host the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, in a meeting with the Ambassadors of EU member states accredited to Armenia. The meeting also marked the conclusion of Sweden’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the hand-over to Spain of the EU Presidency.
Sweden’s presidency recorded important achievements in EU-Armenia relations, not the least the deployment of the EU monitoring mission on the Armenian border (EUMA).
During the event, Foreign Minister Mirzoyan, accompanied by Deputy Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan and other MFA representatives, provided valuable insights and engaged in a fruitful discussion with the attending Ambassadors on many topics, including regional developments and EU-Armenia cooperation.
