On July 5, Armenia-Greece-Cyprus trilateral defence consultations were held in the Republic of Cyprus.
From the Armenian side, the consultations were attended by a delegation led by Levon Ayvazyan, the Head of the Defence Policy Department and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia.
During the consultations, a number of security issues relating to the interests of the three countries, as well as issues of collaboration, were discussed.
The parties confirmed their readiness to take joint steps to strengthen the defence capability and military security of the three countries.
In the wake of the discussions, an annual program of trilateral defence collaboration was signed, which includes a number of activities in the aforementioned countries.
At the end of the consultations, the delegation was welcomed by Lieutenant General Demokritos Zervakis, the Chief of the Cypriot National Guard.
