The NA Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs chaired by Heriknaz Tigranyan debated the draft law on Making Amendments to the Law on Employment at the extraordinary sitting in the second reading on July 10.
According to the key rapporteur, the RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ruben Sargsyan, it is proposed to remove from the law the legislative regulations regarding the annual state programme of employment regulation. According to the Deputy Minister, after the first reading, the Government presented amendments, which were adopted.
With one of them, it is proposed to supplement the draft with new RA draft laws on Making Amendments to the Law on Social Assistance and on Making Amendments to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The addendum is conditioned by the fact that the provisions and regulations regarding the annual state programme of employment regulation are removed from the law on Employment and, therefore, there is a necessity to make appropriate amendments.
The co-rapporteur, the Committee member Mariam Poghosyan called on her colleagues to vote for it.
