July 31,2023 12:02

On July 29, Arin Karapet, an Armenian member of the Swedish Parliament, accompanied by Hakob Abrahamyan, assistant to the RA Prime Minister, was in Kornidzor, where the humanitarian cargo trucks are parked. Let’s remember that that day was already the 4th day the trucks have been standing just above the Hakari Bridge in Kornidzor.

“As long as these cargoes stay here, it will show that Azerbaijan does not want peace. If it wants peace and to solve the issue, it should let the goods pass; people should not die of hunger. You cannot say on the one hand that you want peace; on the other hand, say that 120,000 people will not have anything to eat,” said Arin Karapet in a press conference.

According to the latter, the more Azerbaijan does not allow cargo to pass, the more it will be looked down upon in Europe and according to Arin Karapet, and the European Union is working slowly.

According to the deputy, Armenia, the EU, the USA, and Sweden should do their best to carry the cargo. “The Lachin Corridor must be opened; there is no other way,” emphasized the member of the Swedish Parliament. He says the world sees what is happening here 24 hours a day. As for Azerbaijan’s statements that they will allow cargo transportation only through Aghdam, the Swedish parliament member said that it is Azerbaijan’s political game, and the world demands that the Lachin corridor be opened.
