We are delighted to share that The Song of Flying Leaves, a short animation by Armine Anda has two new selections in August. It is included in Children Film Competition of @Imaginaria Animation Festival in Italy and in “Strange Guests” program for teenagers of Animist Talin in Estonya.
The film is the first Armenia-Iran animation. It is a co-production of “Hoshkee Film” (Armenia) and “Hoorakhsh Studios” (Iran). The script is co-written by the director and the famous Ukranian film director Roman Balayan. The Art Director of the film is Anna Hakopian, and the composer- Miqayel Voskanyan. Voice acting is by Armine Anda and Gagik Ghazareh. The film won two awards in July at the Golden Apricot IFF- “Golden Apricot” Award in the festival’s “Apricot Stone” short film competition and received the Special Award after Gennadi Melkonyan.
