“I won’t say it is the next one because I don’t remember Azerbaijan speaking with that rhetoric. Usually, they were talking about provocations; now, they are talking about large-scale techniques. As a rule, Azerbaijan makes such statements while preparing its aggressive actions. Now, its scale seems to have increased, which means that the probability of possible large-scale aggression by Azerbaijan has also increased. Moreover, it was conceivable because the international reactions and pressures surrounding the blockade of Artsakh are becoming increasingly active.
Azerbaijan understands that it cannot continue like this for a long time and must somehow get out of this situation. There are two options. The first is to open the way, which Azerbaijan is categorically against, and the second option is large-scale clashes to provoke a new war to complete their plan to depopulate Artsakh under this noise. This statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan cannot be considered as another disinformation, this should be taken more seriously, and an appropriate response should be given, not only in the form of denial but perhaps by inviting international structures to the border zone and show on the spot that there is no such thing and show that in reality, Azerbaijan is preparing serious aggression,” the political scientist told Aravot.am.
