Demonstrations of Armenians living in Los Angeles in support of the salvation of Artsakh continue. Recently, they organized protests in Los Angeles near the consulates of France, Great Britain, China, and other countries. Our compatriots posted posters near the consulates of those countries with the demand to stop the genocide in Artsakh.
“This time, we have changed the format of the protest actions. First, we are in front of the French consulate and will visit three more consulates. Today we drove the cars without noise. We came to the French embassy first because the relevant resolution will soon be discussed in the UN Security Council.
We expect a positive answer, we expect that all the states that are involved as co-administrators will take a positive stance on Artsakh’s security, will force the Azerbaijanis to open the border, and food and medicine to reach Artsakh,” said Davit Mnatsakanyan, one of the participants of the protest actions on Facebook live. He referred to the case of starvation in Artsakh, which was alerted by the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh.

“It is a tough situation in Artsakh; we already have a case of starvation in Artsakh, so we cannot sit quietly,” said Davit Mnatsakanyan. In defense of Artsakh, the participants of the rescue demonstration emphasized that now, in the 21st century, we are facing a new genocide, which Azerbaijan is carrying out against Artsakh. The endpoint of the protest of the demonstration participants is the consulate of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles.
