Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made unscheduled stops in several settlements as part of his visit to Tavush Province, where he got acquainted with the progress of road construction projects.
The Prime Minister first visited Ditavan, where the construction works of the 3.1 km long road are in progress. 461 million AMD have been allocated from the state budget for the implementation of the project. Those in charge reported that the works will be completed in the near future.
Next, Nikol Pashinyan was presented with the construction works of the 6.9 km section of the Ijevan-Noyemberyan interstate road, which will be completed before the end of the year. The Government allocated 938 million AMD for the project.
Construction works of the 2.9 km long road have already been completed in Aknaghbyur. The project’s cost is 225 million AMD.

In the regional center of Ijevan, Prime Minister Pashinyan familiarized himself with the completed works of the 500-meter intra-city road. They were implemented within the framework of subsidy programs, 80 million AMD were invested. The Prime Minister also visited the “LOFT” center opened in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport in Ijevan, got acquainted with the created conditions and the latter’s activities.
Tuff paving works are being carried out on a 1.2 km road section in the Hovk settlement. The works being carried out under the subsidy program will be completed within the next month. 60 million AMD were allocated for the project, 60 percent of which was allocated by the Government.
1,400 meters of the road in Gosh settlement were covered with tuff, for which 73 million AMD were allocated. The Government provided 60 percent of the funds within the subsidy program.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of the continuous and consistent implementation of road construction projects and emphasized the need for strict maintenance of quality.
