On August 27, within the framework of the working visit to Slovenia, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan visited Debeli Rtič, a health resort and medical centre.
Accompanied by Samuel Žbogar, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, Minister Mirzoyan got acquainted with the center’s activities, initiatives and the program for Armenian children. The Ambassador of Austria to Slovenia and the representative of the Red Cross of Slovenia were also present.
Within the framework of the program implemented with the support of the Slovenian “ITF Enhancing Human Security” organisation, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia and the Permanent Representation of Austria to the OSCE, from August 26 to September 3 the center is hosting 17 children from the border settlements of Armenia.
The program is implemented as a continuation of the program on “Psychological-social rehabilitation of children, victims of the armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh”, realised by the center in the fall of 2022, as a result of which 11 children passed a medical rehabilitation program at the center.
