On September 2, Artsakh Foreign Minister Sergey Ghazaryan received the congratulations of Mane Tandilyan, Co-Chairman Mesrop Arakelyan, and their teammates on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the declaration of independence of Artsakh at the Artsakh representation in Armenia. During the conversation, Tandilyan said that the people of Yerevan should have a claim to Artsakh. “The anxiety we see from people on the street gives me hope that we will find a way to solve it.”
Sergey Ghazaryan responded. “We have no other option.” At the Artsakh representative office, Mane Tandilyan was presented with the saved paintings of Artsakh artists. Congratulating Mane Tandilyan in a conversation with journalists, she said.
“We are all committed; I want to feel responsible for changing the situation. How, when, and with whom is another question, but we must want this united. Only a united aspiration will bring about a change in the situation. I am sure that the people of Artsakh are fully doing their part in Artsakh today, and we are obliged to become the implementers of this will.”

To the observation that there is a point of view that the situation can be resolved if the RA authorities change, or at least Pashinyan does not say anything about the Artsakh negotiations, Mane Tandilyan replied. “He cannot say anything based on his position, and for that, the right thing is that there should be a change in the ruling power; there should be changes in the negotiator. Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh suffered a defeat under that force, and it no longer allows the given person to negotiate with quality and dignity. That had to be done. People thought that it was not like that, and that’s why Armenia and Artsakh are forced to make daily defeats and concessions. The negotiator must change because the situation demands it. Another negotiator should be able to bring his proposals, discuss and find solutions. Today, a lot depends on the diplomatic corps and the negotiator, so it must be changed.”
Tandilyan noted that Azerbaijan consistently implements its agenda, but we need to see and hear. “We have to understand that they will go further. Artsakh being in this situation is a danger for RA. They approached Yerevan; people openly drew their maps on the territory of Armenia. What do we conclude from this? We should finally wake up and understand that these people have never had a peace agenda, nor will they ever have one.”
