Meeting on the situation in the Republic of Artsakh
On September 6, Acting President of the Republic of Artsakh David Ishkhanyan held a working meeting. The meeting agenda was the situation in the Republic of Artsakh and was attended by Acting Chairman of the National Assembly Gagik Bagunts, State Minister Samvel Shahramanyan, Head of the Presidential Administration Karen Shahramanyan, heads of law enforcement bodies and parliamentary factions, Mayor of Stepanakert.
Defense Minister, Commander of the Defense Army Kamo Vardanyan reported on the situation along the line of contact with Azerbaijan and the measures taken to ensure the security and defense of the Republic of Artsakh.

State Minister Samvel Shahramanyan presented to the meeting participants the measures taken to overcome the humanitarian catastrophe and the necessary steps to face new challenges.
The meeting participants also discussed the upcoming important domestic political event – the election of the President of the Republic by the National Assembly. Acting President of the Republic of Artsakh David Ishkhanyan emphasized the importance of organizing these constitutional processes flawlessly, without any undesirable complications in the current difficult military-political situation and in the context of ongoing humanitarian catastrophe.
