A few days ago, a video about the incident near the pre-election headquarters of the Civil Contract of the Malatia region of Yerevan appeared on the Internet. The event was not “world-shaking” but typical for “New Armenia.” The incident proves that there is no new Armenia; it is the Armenia of the same 30 years
The National Democratic Alliance members were announcing about their rally, and in the meantime, “activists” of a respectable age flew out of the headquarters of the CC, who dragged and cursed the oppositionists, defending their Prime Minister with their chests. As usually happens, the most aggressive “activist” was a woman who did not hold back the movements of her tongue and hands.
And now, imagine those ten years ago, representatives of some social or political movement would make an awareness march in front of the headquarters of the Republican Party of Armenia. Wouldn’t the same thing happen, and didn’t similar things happen in the past? Of course, I cannot claim 100 percent that the same people are sitting in the headquarters of the Civil Contract now. Still, their behavior, style of speaking, and vocabulary correspond one-to-one to the “shufflers” of the RPA, whom the government hired at that time to ensure the “election processes.” : Moreover, since the incident happened in Malatia, it is not excluded that the work of the headquarters formed there is now sponsored by the same oligarch who did it ten years ago.

In any case, it is clear from the video that the current “activists” of Civil Contract are not the young people we saw in the streets of Yerevan in April 2018; people who believed they could change something. Several dozen of those young people became deputies and officials and quickly degenerated. And the positive energy of the main part of the youth was not used in any way.
Of course, it was complicated; it required knowledge and intelligence. It is much easier to follow the well-trodden path of reproduction, which was outlined by Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan, with the same administrative resource, the same “shufflers”, and the same oligarchs. It could be repeated 2-3 more times, but from the point of view of perspective, Pashinyan’s regime is exhausted and condemned in precisely the same way as his predecessors because the core is rotten.
