“The created situation, the process leads to war, deprivation of the homeland. These negotiation errors and the degenerate content of the negotiations have created artificial false expectations among the President of Azerbaijan. We are talking about eight enclaves from the territory of Artsakh, Armenia itself, which, under whose mandate and authority the current Prime Minister of Armenia has agreed to include in the so-called content of peace.
“Vahe Hovhannisyan, Head of the Alternative Projects group, expressed his opinion during the discussion “Artsakh: Where the process is leading” adding that this process was formed due to gross mistakes in negotiations made by the current government of Armenia.
“Aliyev says: give what we negotiated. There is no such mechanism of giving. Everyone understood that this contract was not possible; it would not happen. On the other hand, the hostile country has artificially created great expectations, and it says: if you don’t give it with a peace treaty, I will get it with my tanks. The whole tragedy lies in the fact that the negotiations have ended due to the wrong content. Whenever the negotiations end, the probability of war increases. At the government session, Nikol Pashinyan speaks as an ordinary citizen who, sitting in their yard after work, says that there are crowds, there will be a fight. This nation and country are not a test stone, so whoever makes a mistake, in the end, will say: it didn’t work, it’s a fight, let’s go, we will be sacrificed again,” said the speaker.
According to Vahe Hovhannisyan, even though the created difficult situation is not hopeless, there are solutions, and we have time and resources. “We have no right to allow a new war, deprivation of homeland in Artsakh. We need a new solid government that will ensure these two important things. The rest is the subject of a long conversation later. Indeed, we need a government with high authority. For us to change, correct, and get a chance to avoid the most extreme dangerous scenarios, Armenia needs a new, solid, consolidated government.”
