NA debates the issue of ratification of Agreement on Military-Technical Cooperation between the RA Government and the Government of the Czech Republic
The Agreement sets forth the directions of cooperation in the military-technical sphere, which include the process of ensuring control towards the production of the goods of military importance, import, export, licensing, quality, training of necessary specialists and technical personnel, providing support to the organizations carrying out the activities in the military-technical sphere, the relations regarding the exchange of information and its storage.
The Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sargsyan said this during the regular sitting of the sixth session of the NA eighth convocation held on September 11 during the report of the draft law on Ratifying the Agreement on Military-Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Czech Republic.
According to the rapporteur, the Ministries of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and the Czech Republic are authorized bodies of the parties for the implementation of the provisions of the Agreement.

“The Draft Agreement was agreed with the concerned state bodies, as well as was recognized by the Constitutional Court complying with the requirements of the Constitution,” the Deputy Minister Defense said that asked the MPs at the opportune moment vote for the draft law.
The member of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security Gurgen Melkonyan made a co-report. He informed that the draft was debated at the relevant Committee and was endorsed.
