The adoption of the draft law on Making Addendum to the Law on Trade and Services is conditioned by ensuring the process of amending the legal acts to provide the permission documents exclusively online. The process of submitting applications and ensuring permission documents by the applicants conditioned by the introduction of Single Window/One Stop between the foreign trade platform and state government bodies will be carried out online. The RA Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Teryan said that at September 11 NA sitting, presenting for debate in the first reading the draft law on Making Addendum to the Law on Trade and Services.
As a result of the draft adoption, more simplified conditions will be created for the management of external economic activity in the sphere of foreign trade, as in the framework of the foreign trade the process of amending the legal acts to provide the permission documents will be carried out exclusively online.
The NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan inquired what this change will give to business, if it refers to citizens, business or to both of them. The Vice President also inquired if the entities’ work will be facilitated by this.
As the Deputy Minister clarified it refers to business. “For example, if you wish to receive permission for exporting product of double significance, you apply to that electronic platform, and no paper documents are included in this circulation,” Narek Teryan said, adding that the permission that the Ministry of Economy gives, will be possible to receive through online system.
