On September 13, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Sargis Khandanyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Africa to the Republic of Armenia Andre Johannes Groenewald.
Welcoming the Ambassador in parliament, Sargis Khandanyan noted that Armenia highlights the development of relations of various character with the Republic of South Africa and is ready to activate the cooperation in different spheres and bring up the directions, where real preconditions and mutual interest exist.
Thanking the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations for warm reception, the Ambassador mentioned that he is willing to support the activities promoting the formation of cooperation and development process of the two countries.
In the context of political dialogue, Sargis Khandanyan highlighted the role and significance of the parliamentary diplomacy. According to him, the inter-parliamentary ties boost the formation of the atmosphere of mutual understanding mutual trust of bilateral relations.
