During the parliamentary briefings on September 14, the deputy of the RA NA With Honor Faction Taguhi Tovmasyan presented her observations and views on the internal political situation and regional problems.
According to her, Nagorno-Karabakh and our compatriots living there are fighting for life at the moment, the humanitarian situation is really terrible there, the crisis has deepened, people just have a problem of daily bread. Taguhi Tovmasyan added that the academic year has started in Nagorno-Karabakh, but the children have a problem of buying clothes and shoes.
Responding to the journalist’s question about the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, the deputy of With Honor Faction stated. “We should make the implementation of the right of self-determination of the people of Nagorno Karabakh the number one topic, and this should become a serious issue for negotiation. The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has serious work to do here, and the arguments of Armenia are more here.” According to Taguhi Tovmasyan, the people in Nagorno Karabakh cannot live peacefully within Azerbaijan.
The MP also referred to the elections of Yerevan Council of Elders to be held on September 17, expressing her opinion that unequal competitive conditions have been created. “I spoke about this during the meetings with my international colleagues, and I also informed them in written format so that they know the authorities have discarded their declared values long ago,” Taguhi Tovmasyan said.
