“The humanitarian corridor announced by Azerbaijan is a bluff. That is how they want to depopulate Artsakh. My sister will not leave the bombed Stepanakert,” said Nare Simonyan from Artsakh during the demonstration near the government building.
He called not to give in to such “distracting” statements and to gather near the government building, reminding that during meetings in various embassies, they were told directly or indirectly that the issues should be resolved with the Armenian government because the Armenian government recognized Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan.
Passions flared up from time to time; there were regular tense conversations with the police officers guarding the government building. The leaders of the demonstration urged not to give in to provocations. The demonstrators urged people to join them because although Artsakh is being bombed, the border passes through Yerevan.
