Citizens demonstrating near the government building blocked all entrances to Republic Square. Arega Hovsepyan, one of the protesters, announced a sit-in in Republic Square. Public figure Armen Khachikyan called on citizens to join the demonstration in defense of Artsakh in Republic Square. The demonstrators also referred to Nikol Pashinyan’s statement that the Republic of Armenia will not intervene in the attack on Artsakh. They called such a statement by the Prime Minister of Armenia “treasonous” and demanded Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation.
