Eastern dictatorships love symbolic dates. In that sense, I do not consider it a coincidence that Turkey and Azerbaijan chose September 21 as the day of final capitulation. The Republic was created precisely 32 years ago under the influence of the Artsakh movement and, essentially also with the Artsakh agenda, bids farewell to Artsakh on the same day in 2023.
The signature of Artsakh leaders will be formally under the second capitulation document. But, I think no one will want to accuse them of something. Those people faced a dilemma: either the destruction of the defense army, which would be followed by mass slaughter, or a specific, not 100 percent, chance that it would be possible to evacuate the people of Artsakh safely. In fact, it is the capitulation of the Republic of Armenia, the degradation and humiliation of Pashinyan’s power.
Artsakh was left alone in front of two massive armies primarily because Armenia left it alone. The positions of the United States, the European Union, and especially Russia are immoral, to the point of monstrosity. But their position would be different if the state of Armenia was on the backs of 120 thousand people if the head of that state did not “hand over” the people of Artsakh, declaring that they live in Azerbaijan.
Pashinyan, his teammates, and supporters do not accept this. In November 2020, I thought that their voice would not come out, and I was surprised that they not only talked but also threatened, and their leader was running around with a hammer, threatening his opponents. At that time, I was surprised. Today, my surprise has increased tenfold because even now they are talking; they are “revealing” some conspiracies and coups.

Moreover, they invent some “coup” and claim that they heroically prevented it. It is difficult to interpret that shamelessness. As Gurdjieff, an outstanding philosopher of the 20th century, said, everyone has a “little soul” (душонка), and to have a soul, you need some inner work.
Today, the Prime Minister of Armenia will make a “celebratory” address, tell about the fantastic successes the Republic has achieved in the last five years, talk about the sovereignty (which he defeated), and maybe at the end; he will confess how much he loves us and is proud of us.
Of course, you need strong nerves to listen to those speeches.
Now, about pride, I want to remind you of another post on Pashinyan. He posted a caption on February 8, 2020, to an earlier photo of himself and his wife against a “Grandpa-Grandma” backdrop. The inscription reads: “Artsakh: our pride, our identity, our love.” Question: Is living without pride, identity, or love possible?
