One of the residents of Stepanakert gave details about the situation in Artsakh in a conversation with “Aravot.am” According to him, many displaced persons in Stepanakert have not been accommodated yet; people are on the street with their belongings. “Fortunately, there is no rain, and people are outside; it’s shameful,” said our interlocutor. Referring to today’s shootings in Stepanakert, he mentioned that the shootings took place in the first half of the day, and the Azerbaijanis in the outskirts of Stepanakert tried to improve their positions.
“But they were resisted, and I can say there was no change in position regarding Stepanakert. As of yesterday, they remain in the same positions they were in. As for the regions, the regions are under blockade, Martuni is under blockade, Martakert is under blockade, and all roads are closed. They say that they also entered the Red Village. But we don’t have any official information; there is almost no telephone contact. Initially, they say there are 200 victims, but the number of victims will likely increase,” our interlocutor mentioned. As for the evacuation of the population, he noted that the following information is being circulated about it: “The Russians say that in the future they can open a corridor, those who want to go, whoever is going to integrate, let him integrate. But these are just conversations; we don’t have any official information.”
Our interlocutor also added that they had heard that Baku has a list of men from Artsakh, according to which many will be arrested. According to him, the authorities of Artsakh did not give any clarification to the people of Artsakh.
