On September 21, the youth blocked all the entrances to the Republic Square. Before the rally, they protested in defense of our compatriots of Artsakh. Many streets were closed in the capital.
“We are going out to do acts of disobedience; you can join us, you can stay here,” said one of the protesting youths, who moved forward along Amiryan Street with other youths to inform the people of Yerevan about the rally at 18:00.
“We have to come out so that there is a government in Armenia that will stop this process and that will consider an Armenian as a relative, regardless of his place of birth.”He who does not protect Artsakh will not protect Syunik, Yerevan, or any of your families,” said one of the young people. Young people were chanting “Nikol, Genocidal”.
