The government in Armenia must change because Pashinyan’s tenure seriously threatens our country’s independence and sovereignty. To ensure this is so, it is enough to compare the state of the RA state borders in 2018 and 2023.
But I am sure that the only form of power change that can help our state is elections, regular or extraordinary. The Yerevan Council of Elders elections showed that such a thing is possible. And perhaps, seeing this, Aliyev hastened to carry out a punitive operation in Artsakh, realizing that he may not be so lucky in the matter of the next leader of Armenia.
But the same can be said about Putin. The official propaganda circulates the absurd thesis that the Kremlin wants to implement a change of power in Armenia. But the reality is precisely the opposite. It is incredibly beneficial for Putin to have a person in power in our country who is incapable of anything except holding his seat, who can fall into geopolitical suffering once a month to provide a propaganda effect and under the influence of some internal, incomprehensible impulses.
If Pashinyan remains in power, it will be much easier for Russia to implement its joint plans with Turkey, the core of which is now the Zangezur Corridor.

The Prime Minister of Armenia now says it is a “red line” for him. But he also said that “Artsakh is Armenia, and that’s it,” immediately after signing the capitulation document on November 9, 2020, he said: “Long live the Republic of Artsakh.”
So, any word he says has no meaning; one day, he will say one thing, and another day – exactly the opposite. Today, Pashinyan promises to fight for the independence and sovereignty of Armenia, but tomorrow, he can say: “Let’s become an outlying province of Russia (or Turkey); there is no other way.” When a person has no moral inhibitions, he also has no “red lines”.
The current prime minister of Armenia is just a find for Putin, as well as, I repeat, for Aliyev and Erdogan. All three made great efforts and will make efforts to prevent a change of power in Armenia.
And, by the way, the Russian peacekeepers were brought to Artsakh by non-Artsakh people, as Pashinyan’s propagandists try to present. Their leader signed off on the sinister tripartite document granting that access. So, it is hard to imagine a more pro-Russian figure than Pashinyan.
