These days, in Syunik, our compatriots displaced from Artsakh are supported by international and local charitable organizations and state aid. “HimnaTavush” development organization has been in Kornidzor since the first hours of the forced displacement.

Food, sweets, and water are distributed to everyone. “They approach all cars indiscriminately and carry out the distribution according to the number of passengers,” says Nerses Shadunts, coordinator of “HimnaTavush” Syunik, former Head of the Tegh community.

According to him, the initiative was supported by the partners of the Armenian Foundation of France, as well as the locals from Khndzoresk and other settlements. “We should have done something else sooner because we didn’t; we have to do this today. We should have stood next to our brothers and sisters,” Nerses Shadunts, former Head of Tegh community, said in a conversation with Aravot.am.
