Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan and Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan presented the latest data on displaced persons from Nagorno Karabakh and the progress of support provided by the Armenian government.
According to the press secretary, as of 12:00 pm, 91,448 forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh have arrived in the Republic of Armenia, and 19,103 vehicles have crossed the Hakari Bridge by that time. As of now, that number has reached around 93 thousand. The number of registered persons is 69,916.
As of 12:00 pm, 22,306 people had used the state-provided shelters, as of now, that number is 23,433. The distribution by regions is as follows: Aragatsotn region 976, Ararat region: 6031, Armavir region: 2124, Gegharkunik region: 2137, Lori region: 1187, Kotayk region: 5323, Shirak region: 897, Syunik region: 2050, Vayots Dzor region: 1555, Tavush region: 1183.

The minister emphasized that people with bank and pension cards will receive the money by transfer, and those who do not have bank cards will receive the money from Haypost offices. He noted that in the coming days, it will be more clearly presented when, how and from where to get this support, as active work is being done in the direction of technical solutions.
Narek Mkrtchyan noted that at the moment, around 100 elderly people in need of care, including people with disabilities, have been accommodated in appropriate care centers under the ministry. More than 20 children left without parental care were placed in care institutions.
As of 14:00, more than 15,300 needs have been registered on the primary need registration platform. In parallel with that, more than 180 institutions – public, charitable, international, donor organizations – presented their support types on the social support map platform.
As of 2:00 pm, more than 8,500 calls have been handled through round-the-clock hotline 114.
During the last 2-3 days, a Unified Social Service Station was launched in the Parakar House of Culture, where relevant services were provided related to housing problems in Yerevan or in the nearby areas of Yerevan,. The health center of the Ministry of Health also operates there, the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are also there.
The station also operates in the unified social service of Shengavit. Within 2 days, more than 2000 people were directed to different settlements in the regions through these stations. Registration will also be carried out at the 49 points of the Unified Social Service.
On behalf of the Ministry, an announcement was made that our compatriots with disabilities, in case they need a support device (wheelchair, crutches, prostheses), can contact and receive it through the 144 hotline.
Nazeli Baghdasaryan informed at the end that all the buses that had left for Stepanakert have already returned to Goris, as a result, 1560 people were transported by buses. A little later, those buses will leave for Stepanakert again to organize the transportation of people who do not have their own means of transport.
