The first President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, expressed his satisfaction that the opposition has temporarily stopped its active actions, and the former Prime Minister, Armen Darbinyan, called for a temporary freeze on the search for the culprits. I see the logic in those assessments and appeals: it would be perfect to lower the tension of political passions for a few weeks until our brothers and sisters displaced from Artsakh have more or less tolerable conditions for living here and finding work.
The only drawback of these proposals is that the “conflicting parties” are unlikely to listen. If we follow the websites and the air, then the dominant part of their content is mutual accusations. That struggle takes much more passionate manifestations on Facebook, I can’t say because I’m not on that platform).
The opposition mainly says that Pashinyan is guilty, which, according to them, implies that the Russians are not guilty. The government claims that the Russians are guilty; therefore, Pashinyan is not guilty. To be honest, I don’t understand that “and therefore” in both cases. What – does one exclude the other?
The official propaganda has another target: the current government of Artsakh and those whose relations with Pashinyan were not smooth are to blame. Samvel Babayan was engaged in that propaganda as soon as he arrived in Armenia. When the enemy captures the representatives of Artsakh’s current and former authorities for revenge, when their lives are in danger, I do not think such conversations are opportune. (By the way, on the other hand, I also consider the discussions about why Samvel Babayan was able to leave Artsakh, but several other figures could not be ethically unacceptable.

Every Armenian should be happy for the opportunity to be free and safe). Within the framework of these accusations, the RA government’s thesis that the Artsakh Defense Army alone could have resisted the attack of the Azerbaijani-Turkish army for a longer time seems absurd to me.
In short, it is desirable for political forces to be more restrained in their propaganda for some time. And after that, they should think about saving the Republic of Armenia.
