An engagement occurred in the Bagravan village of Ani, an enlarged community of Shirak Region. One of the village’s families, which recently hosted a large family of 15 forcibly displaced from Artsakh, chose a bride for his son from the hosted family. The bride is 22 years old; the groom is 26.
To congratulate the newlyweds, Vahan Tumasyan, the Chairman of the “Shirak Center” NGO, was hosted by them today. Vahan Tumasyan is busy relieving the worries of families forcibly displaced from Artsakh. He published a photo of a forcibly displaced family from Artsakh on his Facebook page, writing that he came to congratulate them on a new family being formed.
Vahan Tumasyan has made Bagravan, which is not far from the ruins of the historical capital of Ani, one of the most exciting tourist locations of the Shirak region, establishing a colorful inn-museum there. The administrative part of Bagravan is Norashen, the village of Kharkiv, separated by only one valley from the ruins of the historical capital of Ani.
