Arman Tatoyan had a meeting with the representatives of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU Armenia) and Mr. John Iñárritu Gartiza, a member of the Spanish Congress of Deputies.
Issues related to the genocidal policy of the Azerbaijani authorities and the current situation of Artsakh Armenians were discussed at the meeting.
Arman Tatoyan presented the results of the fact-finding activities and pointed out that the forced displacement of tens of thousands of civilians from their homes and communities took place after 9 months of Azerbaijani blockade. As a result of years of Armenophobic policies sponsored by the Azerbaijani authorities at the state level, 120,000 residents are in a humanitarian disaster.
The invaluable activity of AGBU these days in relation to the support provided to forcibly displaced Artsakh Armenians was also highlighted at the meeting.
