At the end of September, at the initiative of Jason Hamacher, the founder of the Washington-based multimedia company Lost Origins Productions, there was an exhibition of Rudolf Kharatyan’s paintings entitled THE RITE and a meeting discussion about dance, art, and esotericism. When discussing Rudolf Kharatyan’s fine art, art lovers are interested in whether the famous choreographer received a professional education and why he is shown more often abroad than in Armenia. Let us inform you that Kharatyan studied at the Fine Arts School of Yerevan at the artist Levon Vardanyan’s studio. Yes, in the USA, Kharatyan’s works have been exhibited in individual and group formats, for example, in Washington, DC, at the Maryland College of Art and Design, Roulette, Foundry, Touchstone galleries, New York, Las Vegas, the Armenian Embassy in the USA, the Russian Culture Center, etc. The artist’s works were also exhibited in Russia, India, Egypt, Italy, Great Britain, and, of course, in Armenia.
