Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan and Nazeli Baghdasaryan presented the work progress of the “Humanitarian Center”.
As noted by Nazeli Baghdasaryan, more than 81 thousand people have received the one-time support of 100,000 AMD. The aid money has already been transferred.
“During the previous week, these funds were transferred to 52,600 people. According to today’s data, money has already been transferred to 29,078 people, of which 14,593 are minors. In other words, more than 80,000 people have been given lump sums, the applications of others are being processed,” said the press secretary of the Prime Minister.
Nazeli Baghdasaryan also informed that our compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh are already moving from hotels and guesthouses to rented apartments, reminding that the Armenian Government has provided accommodation for more than 58 thousand people.

Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan said that as of today there are 80,128 forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh in 10 regions. They were sheltered in hotels, guesthouses, some adapted buildings and private houses. As of now, however, 1,629 of those are living in adapted buildings, and work is being done by the regional administration to move them to more convenient places.
“If we compare today with yesterday, about 300 people have moved from hotels to separate apartments or private houses, now there are 7782 people in hotels,” said the minister.
Gnel Sanosyan said that along with the process of accommodating forcibly displaced people, an inventory of needs is also being carried out together with all concerned departments. In order to meet the needs of the displaced, the Government regularly provides money to the regional administrations. “Today, that amount is 1 billion 360 million AMD. In the near future, probably on Monday or Tuesday, the next allocation to the regions will take place,” said the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.
It was also noted that as of October 13, 13,443 children forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh were enrolled in the schools of the regions of Armenia and Yerevan. The distribution is as follows: Yerevan: 4239, Kotayk: 2334, Ararat: 1868, Armavir: 1161, Lori: 796, Gegharkunik: 672, Aragatsotn: 600, Shirak: 552, Syunik: 536, Tavush: 406, Vayots Dzor: 279.
Nazeli Baghdasaryan informed that the number of patients transferred from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia due to military operations and explosion and receiving treatment in various medical centers of the capital is 208. The condition of 56 of them is serious, 10 – extremely serious. More than two dozen patients were discharged. 20 patients receive their treatment in different clinics abroad. As of now, 26,512 forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh have been registered in polyclinics and outpatient clinics.
