Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a working lunch with a group of Members of the European Parliament. Among them were: Nathalie Loiseau, Chair of the Subcommittee on Security and Defence of the European Parliament, Viola Von Cramon-Taubadel, co-rapporteur on Armenian issues in the European Parliament, Marina Kaljurand, Chair of the European Parliament Delegation for Relations with the South Caucasus, Andrey Kovatchev, permanent rapporteur on Armenia, and others.
At the meeting, the humanitarian situation created by the forced displacement of more than 100,000 of our compatriots from Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of the policy of ethnic cleansing by Azerbaijan, the further steps of assistance by the international community, the developments taking place in the region, the process of normalizing Armenia-Azerbaijan relations were discussed.
