Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan participated in the official opening ceremony of the annual international technology summit “Silicon Mountains 2023”.
Within the framework of the summit dedicated to the challenges of a smart country, a special envelope redemption ceremony was held under the theme “State Award of the Republic of Armenia for Global Investment in High Technologies”. The State Prize 2022 laureate is Shantanu Narayen, President and CEO of Adobe Company, whose award will be presented within the framework of the summit.
Before the ceremony of redeeming the special envelope, the Chief of the Prime Minister’s Staff welcomed the attendees and congratulated them on this important event. “The state has four symbols, one of which is the stamp. In fact, many events happen in our life during the year, months, weeks, days, but few of them are reflected on the stamp. I am very happy that this particular event is being marked by the redemption of a stamp for the umpteenth time, because the Republic of Armenia has traditionally paid great attention to the development of the high-tech sector. That is why the homonymous ministry was created years ago to mark our commitment to developing the sector,” said Arayik Harutyunyan.
The Chief of the Prime Minister’s Staff emphasized with happiness that in the margins of this award, Armenia is hosting world-renowned representatives of this field, in this case, Shantanu Narayen. “Today, I want to hurry a little and congratulate him on the occasion of receiving this award and congratulate all of us on the occasion of the stamp redemption ceremony,” Arayik Harutyunyan concluded his speech.
