“It is a clear manifestation of cynicism. I think that we have no place to be surprised anymore. Still, the capitulator acts more cynically with every speech, with every new activity, and reaches new heights of cynicism,” said Eduard Sharmazanov, a member of the RPA Council, in a briefing with journalists, referring to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s speech in the European Parliament. According to Sharmazanov, Pashinyan blames others for leaving us alone against Azerbaijan’s aggression.
But it was Pashinyan himself who left Artsakh alone. “What does it mean to stand and accuse others of being lonely? This is said by a person who left Artsakh alone. Nikol Pashinyan complains to his allies that they left him alone. The world has the right to complain about allies in the international community, but not Nikol Pashinyan. This is said by a person who went live on September 19, the day of the war, and announced that even though the Turks are massacring Armenians there, he will not get involved. A day later, he says that there was no direct threat to the civilian population. And then Bayramov threw those words in the face of Ararat Mirzoyan at the UN.”
According to Sharmazanov, Pashinyan is a neo-Bolshevik without “isms.” “His spiritual fathers are the Bolsheviks, and when they came to power in 1921, they started judging the heroes of Sardarapat. Nikol Pashinyan also judges the heroes of Artsakh.”
Turning to Samvel Babayan, Sharmazanov said a person associated with the victory of the 1990s today became the first to leave the ship. “And you know who leaves the ship first. And Bako Sahakyan, Arkadi Ghukasyan, Levon Mnatsakanyan did not leave the sinking ship like a decent captain. They stayed in their place until the very last moment, and Samvel Babayan was one of the first to leave.”
