Since September 20, solving the humanitarian problems of forcibly displaced people from Artsakh has become the daily work of most of us. On this occasion, I organized a meeting in the parliament with the representatives of non-governmental organizations and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia.
With the Former Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Artsakh, Advisor to the Artsakh President on Education Affairs, Lusine GHARAKHANYAN, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Artsakh on Diaspora Affairs, Chairwoman of the Board of the “GOY” Humanitarian Foundation Azatoohi SIMONYAN, CEO and Founder of “House of Justice” human rights NGO Tereza DAVTYAN and my assistant from Artsakh, Oksana BALAYAN, we had a meeting in the parliament with H.E. Mr. John GALLAGHER, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia.
Based on a number of problems that have arisen in this difficult period for the Armenian people, we have many thoughts and ideas regarding the preservation of historical and cultural heritage, the protection of religious monuments and other issues.
We are committed to support our compatriots who were forcibly displaced from the Republic of Artsakh, assist them in establishing themselves within their chosen professional domains, enabling them to cultivate a competitive edge, acquire new skills, adapt to the new environment. Furthermore, we are dedicated to raising the Artsakh matter on the global stage through the execution of diverse programs. In pursuit of these objectives, we have initiated a sequence of meetings with ambassadors, representatives of international organizations, and various experts. I will keep you duly informed about the results.
