With the proposed addendum, it is established that the order of service of the foreign delegations and the RA officials using the hall of official delegations of the RA airports, as well as the list of the foreign delegations and the RA officials using that hall is defined by the Prime Minister’s decision. On October 18, the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations debated the draft law on Making Addenda to the Law on Ensuring the Activities of Officials, Service and Social Guarantees authored by the Government in the second reading.
The family members of officials will also be able to use the hall of official delegations of the mentioned airports.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Paruyr Hovhannisyan stated that after the first reading, proposals were received, most of which were adopted.
He also informed that the relevant article of the mentioned law stipulates that the RA President, the Prime Minister, the NA President, the retired President of the Republic, as well as their accompanying family members can use the special hall of the airports of the Republic of Armenia. “Taking into consideration the wide range of powers of the Prime Minister as a result of the constitutional amendments of 2018, we propose to extend the provision of the first part of the law to the retired prime ministers after 2018,” the Deputy Minister said. The Committee adopted this substantive proposal. The rest of the adopted proposals were of a technical nature.
