It is proposed to make unified the organizational-legal forms of the primary health care organizations

The requirements being introduced to the candidates for the directors of the SNCO, the CNCO and the CJSC and of the medical institutions carrying out primary care with the same function differ from each other. We make unified the requirements with this draft. The primary health care organizations should become either community or under state subordination.

The Chair of the Standing Committee on Health Care Narek Zeynalyan noted presenting at the sitting of the Committee the legislative package on Making Addendum to the law on State Non-Commercial Organizations, on Amending the law on Medical Aid and Service of the Population and on Making Addendum to the law on Local Self-Government. According to him. The legislative proposal was repeatedly debated with the Ministry. It is necessary to bring the whole primary sector to unified organizational-legal form.

The Deputy Minister of Health Ara Nazaryan informed that there are about 250 organizations of primary health care, and about 150 out of them are under marz/regional subordination, and 100 – under community subordination.

“At present, within the framework of the Government Development programme for 2021-2026, relevant work is done in order to make the organizational-legal forms of the primary health care organizations similar and in terms of the management the implementation of the processes will be easier,” the Deputy Minister detailed.

The issue debated in the second reading was endorsed by the Committee.
