Deputy Minister of Health Armen Nazaryan and Prime Minister’s press secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan presented from the government’s “Humanitarian Center” the government’s programs aimed at solving the humanitarian problems of people forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh, clarifications were presented regarding issues received through various social platforms.
Nazeli Baghdasaryan first referred to the one-time assistance of 100,000 AMD and informed that the money will be transferred tomorrow to another 10,000 people. As of last week, more than 80,000 people have received the amount. The press secretary of the Prime Minister reminded that the data processing continues.
According to the data provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, all the applications that are filled out for the allocation of money for minors are being processed, will be summarized tomorrow and the money will be transferred. Data of 2,000 persons in the age group above 75 or with first or second degree of disability were processed, their money transfer will be carried in cash, the money was transferred to Haypost, from where they can receive it. Nazeli Baghdasaryan emphasized that this decision refers exclusively to the one-time assistance of 100,000 AMD. In the framework of future support programs, the allocation of funds will be carried out in a non-cash way.
Referring to the decision made at the Cabinet meeting today, Nazeli Baghdasaryan noted that with that decision, the necessary allocation was made: 40+10 thousand AMD for rent and utility costs. A person will not receive support in the following cases: if he owns property in Armenia, is absent from Armenia or resides in a social protection institution or in state or community-owned areas. The press secretary of the Prime Minister noted that this support program is for a period of 6 months and the planned funds will be transferred on a monthly basis, not all at once.

It was noted that there is no need to submit applications for the month of October. Details on how to get the money for rent and utilities in the coming months will be provided in future press releases.
Referring to the question often asked by forcibly displaced persons, Nazeli Baghdasaryan stated: “Regarding children’s money, in the event that the mother does not live together or has passed away, it is indicated that the money will be transferred to the guardian, this was discussed at the Cabinet meeting today, and after appropriate changes, the father of the minor children will also be allocated that money.”
Deputy Minister of Health Armen Nazaryan presented that the number of patients transferred from Nagorno Karabakh to Armenia as a result of military operations and the explosions of the fuel depot who are receiving treatment in various medical centers of the capital is 167. The condition of 26 of them is serious, 10 – extremely serious. In the last week, 80 patients were discharged. 19 patients receive their treatment in different foreign clinics.
72 children were born in families forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, 37 of them in Yerevan, 35 in regions. As of now, 38,102 persons forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh have been registered in polyclinics and outpatient clinics. The Ministry of Health examined and registered 2,500 displaced persons through mobile teams, of which 588 were children and 25 were pregnant. The National Health Institute of the Ministry of Health has already received 1,800 calls, provided consultation, and assessed needs. 594 displaced medical workers were registered, of which 250 are senior workers, 300 medical workers were trained by the Ministry of Health under the state order.
Referring to the solution of the employment issue, Nazeli Baghdasaryan reminded that the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport has launched an important platform where teachers can enter their data and choose a suitable job with the appropriate specialization and region. About 80 people have got employment in this way.
