Maestro Sergey Smbatyan, the artistic director and chief conductor of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, has been acquitted. Lawyer Yervand Varosyan wrote about this on Facebook. “By the prosecutor’s decision of the RA General Prosecutor’s Office, the criminal prosecution against Sergey Smbatyan was terminated because he did not commit the incriminated act.”
